The security check box is missing
Updated 18 October 2026
When you make a PelQi, ask for a password reset code, or sign in on pelqi.com, a small box from Cloudflare checks you are a person. Usually it ticks itself and says Success!. If it never appears, PelQi says "Tick the box that says you're a person, then try again."
Why the box may not show
- A content blocker, ad blocker or privacy extension is stopping scripts from challenges.cloudflare.com.
- A school, office or home network filter blocks Cloudflare's check.
- The browser is very old, or JavaScript is switched off.
- A VPN or private relay makes the check ask again and again.
Fixes
- Any browser: reload the page and wait a few seconds; the box can take a moment to draw. Then tick it if it asks.
- Content blockers: allow pelqi.com, app.pelqi.com and challenges.cloudflare.com, or pause the blocker for this page, then reload.
- Safari on iPhone or Mac: turn off content blockers for the page (on iPhone, tap the page menu in the address bar and choose to turn content blockers off; on Mac, Safari, Settings for This Website). Make sure iOS or macOS is up to date.
- Chrome, Edge or Firefox on a computer: try a private window with extensions off. If that works, one of your extensions is the cause.
- A network filter: try another network, such as mobile data instead of office Wi-Fi.
- "That check did not work. Tick the box again, then try again." The tick expired or Cloudflare did not accept it. Tick the box again; each tick works once.
The PelQi app
The box runs inside the PelQi app too. If it cannot run there, the app is still allowed to send the form, with a tighter limit on how many sign-ups or resets can come from one connection in an hour.
What you should see
The box shows a green tick and Success!, and the form goes through.
