The terms, in plain words.

These terms are an agreement between you and Fortis Data Group LLC, North Carolina, United States, which makes PelQi. They cover PelQi Home and PelQi Work, on the web and in the PelQi apps. By creating an account or using PelQi you agree to them. The privacy notice explains what we keep and why.

Your account

You need to be 18 or over to create an account. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. A grown-up may add children to their household in PelQi Home and is responsible for how those children use PelQi. Children cannot create accounts themselves.

Plans and payment

PelQi Home has a Free plan and two paid plans, Plus and Family, billed monthly or yearly at the prices on pricing, in US dollars plus any tax that applies where you live. Payments are handled by Stripe.

Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each month or year, at the price then in effect, until you cancel. You can cancel any time in Settings, Plan, Manage subscription. When you cancel, you keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for, then move to Free with your memory, lists and conversations intact. Payments are not refunded for part of a period, except where the law requires it.

If you change plan, Stripe works out the difference for the rest of the period. If a payment fails we will try again for a short time; if it still fails, your account moves to Free. If prices change, we will tell you at least 30 days before your next renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Each plan has a daily allowance of conversation, photos and voice, shown in Settings, Plan. Allowances reset at midnight where you are and do not carry over.

Using PelQi well

Use PelQi for lawful purposes. Do not use it to harm or harass anyone, to break into systems, to send spam, to infringe someone else's rights, or to try to get around its limits, safety rules or the approvals it asks for. We may suspend an account that does, and where the misuse is serious we may close it.

AI answers

PelQi uses an AI model to help, and it can be wrong. It shows where its answers come from when it can, and asks before it acts on your behalf, but check anything important, especially health, legal, financial or safety matters, with a qualified person. PelQi is not an emergency service.

Your content

What you share with PelQi stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide PelQi to you, as the privacy notice describes. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.

PelQi Work

PelQi Work is in a private pilot. Workspace owners decide who joins and what PelQi may connect to. When you connect another service, such as Microsoft 365, Jira, Confluence or Zoho CRM, its own terms also apply, and PelQi acts only within the access you grant and the approvals your workspace requires.

Changes and availability

PelQi keeps improving, so features may change. We aim to keep it running smoothly but cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time in Settings; this ends any paid plan at the end of its period and nothing further is charged. We may end these terms if you seriously break them, and we will tell you why.

Liability

PelQi is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Fortis Data Group is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for PelQi in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, United States, except where the law where you live gives you the right to rely on it.
