My agent is paused
Updated 18 October 2026
Agents keep watching things for you on PelQi Max. If one stops, the Agents page shows it as paused with the reason underneath. PelQi also sends a notice when it pauses one itself.
Each reason, and what to do
- "Paused by you" You, or someone signed in as you, tapped Pause. Open the agent and choose Switch back on.
- "This agent used its share of this week's allowance. It starts again on Monday, or give it a bigger share." Each agent has a share of the weekly agent allowance (20% unless you change it). Open the agent, choose Change, and raise its share, or wait for Monday.
- "This week's agent allowance is used up. Your agents start again when it resets on Monday." All agents together used Max's weekly agent allowance. They start again by themselves on Monday, where you are. Chat keeps working.
- "Paused after three checks in a row did not work." The page or inbox it watches could not be read three times running (for example, the page moved or the site blocks readers). Check the address in the agent, then Switch back on. Three failed runs pause it too.
- "Agents are part of PelQi Max. Your plan changed, so they are paused; nothing was deleted." Your plan is no longer Max. Going back to Max brings them back.
- "All agents are stopped. Start them again first." Someone chose Stop all agents (from the Agents page, the account menu, the command palette, chat, the phone line or Teams). Start them again from the Agents page.
- "Agents are paused for maintenance. Try again later." PelQi has paused every agent for a short while. They come back on their own.
Quiet hours are not a pause
During an agent's quiet hours it keeps watching and keeps what it finds; the notices arrive when quiet hours end.
What you should see
After Switch back on, the agent's dot shows it watching and its next check time appears. Check now checks straight away.
