"This month's fair-use allowance is used up"

Plus and Family subscriptions started on or after 18 October 2026 have a monthly fair-use allowance on top of the daily one. When it is used, PelQi shows This month's fair-use allowance is used up and says, for example, "You have used this month's fair-use allowance on Plus. Chat starts again on 1 November. Timers, alarms, reminders and routines without an Ask PelQi step keep working."

Who has it

• Plus and Family subscriptions started on or after 18 October 2026. Plus covers about 600 everyday messages a month; Family about 1,200, shared by everyone at home on that Family plan (PelQi then says "Your household has used this month's fair-use allowance on Family").
• Subscriptions started before 18 October 2026 have no monthly allowance, and keep that through renewals and plan changes in the billing portal.
• PelQi Max has no monthly allowance.

Check where you are

Tap the usage ring in the message box, or open Plan and usage. A plan with fair use shows This month (or This month, shared at home) with a bar and the day it starts again. The ring in the message box shows full once the month is used.

When it comes back

On the 1st of next month, where you are.

What keeps working

Timers, alarms, plain reminders and routines without an "Ask PelQi something" step. Research, Try it now, meal plans, scheduled runs, background tasks and the phone line wait for the new month and say so.
