PelQi Work in Microsoft Teams
Updated 18 October 2026
PelQi Work can live in Microsoft Teams as well as in the app. Chatting with PelQi in Teams is the same as Ask PelQi in Work, notices and run reports arrive there, and approval requests come as cards whose Approve and Decline buttons decide them for real. Teams is for PelQi Work only; your personal PelQi Home stays in the PelQi app.
Teams is for PelQi Work pilot workspaces. It is not part of PelQi Home.
Before you start
- Teams is part of the PelQi Work pilot. During the pilot it works in one Microsoft 365 organisation, Fortis Data Group's own; it is not yet open to other organisations. To ask about it for your organisation, write to info@fortisdatagroup.com.
- You need to be in a PelQi Work workspace, with your work Microsoft 365 mailbox connected there. Teams links you to PelQi by that work account.
Add PelQi to Teams
- A workspace owner or admin opens PelQi Work, then Connections, and chooses Download the Teams app. This gives a file called pelqi-teams.zip.
- In Teams, open Apps, then Manage your apps, then Upload an app, and choose the file. Your Teams administrator can also add it for everyone in the Teams admin centre.
- Open a chat with PelQi in Teams and say hi.
What it can and cannot do
- Chatting in Teams is the same as Ask PelQi in Work, with the same workspace, memory and rules.
- Notices and run reports arrive in Teams, and approval cards decide requests for real; each is decided once, wherever you press.
- It links you by your work Microsoft 365 account, in the pilot's one organisation.
- Your personal PelQi Home never appears in Teams.
What you should see
PelQi answers in the chat. Work, Connections shows your Teams link, with Unlink if you want to stop. Approval cards in Teams show what will happen, and once decided they show the outcome; the same request leaves the Approvals page in the app.
If it does not work
- PelQi does not answer in Teams: check your work Microsoft 365 mailbox is connected in your PelQi Work workspace, under Connections, with the same account you use in Teams.
- Your organisation's Teams does not allow uploading apps: ask your Teams administrator to add it.
- Something already decided in the app still shows a card in Teams: the card updates when it is pressed; pressing it again does nothing twice.
