Why Microsoft says "unverified"
Updated 18 October 2026
When you connect your Microsoft account, Microsoft's sign-in page says PelQi Home is unverified. That is Microsoft's publisher verification, a check of the company behind an app, which is not finished for PelQi Home yet. PelQi tells you this on the Connections page before you sign in.
What it means
- Publisher verification is a domain and identity check that Microsoft runs on the company that publishes an app. It does not change what the app can do.
- PelQi Home asks Microsoft for exactly four things, and Microsoft lists them on the same page: read your profile, read your mail, read your calendars, and stay connected until you disconnect. Nothing else.
- It does not mean PelQi is a Microsoft partner or endorsed by Microsoft, and PelQi does not claim to be.
Carry on with a personal account
- On Microsoft's page, check the account shown is the one you meant.
- Read the permissions listed under PelQi Home.
- Choose Accept. You come back to PelQi with your account connected.
What you should see
Personal Microsoft accounts (Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live) can accept the unverified app. Some work and school organisations do not allow it, or ask for an administrator first. If yours does, Microsoft says so and nothing is connected.
If it does not work
- If Microsoft stops you with an organisation message, see When your organisation blocks PelQi.
- If you would rather not continue, close the page. Nothing is connected until you choose Accept.
