Reset your password

Updated 18 October 2026

If you forgot your password, PelQi emails you a six-digit code. You type the code with a new password, and you are signed straight in. Every other device you were signed in on is signed out, so it is safe to do if you think someone else knows your password.

Reset it

  • Open the sign-in page, app.pelqi.com/login, and choose Forgot password? under the card. PelQi says "Set a new password."
  • Type your email, tick the security check box when it appears, and choose Send code.
  • PelQi says "If that email has a PelQi, a code is on its way." Open your email and find the message from notifications@fortisdatagroup.com.
  • Type the six-digit code and a new password of at least 10 characters, then choose Set new password.

What you should see

PelQi signs you in at once. Your chats, family, lists and settings are all still there. On your other phones and computers, PelQi asks you to sign in again with the new password.

If it does not work

  • No email arrives. PelQi only sends a code if the email has a confirmed PelQi, and it never says whether it has, so check you typed the address you signed up with. Then see No code email.
  • "That code did not match. Check the newest email." You asked for more than one code. Only the newest one works.
  • "That code has run out. Ask for a new one." Codes work for 15 minutes. Choose Back to sign in, then Forgot password? again.
  • "Too many wrong codes. Ask for a new one." Five wrong tries cancel a code. Ask for a new one.
  • "Use at least 10 characters for your new password." Choose a longer password.
  • "Too many tries. Try again in 15 minutes." Wait 15 minutes before asking again.
  • "Tick the box that says you're a person, then try again." See The security check box is missing.
  • Lost a phone, or signed in on a shared computer? In Settings, You, under Account, choose Sign out everywhere else. Every other phone, browser and handed-over child's screen signs out; this one stays signed in.

Nobody from PelQi will ever ask for your code or your password. If someone does, do not give it, and tell us at info@fortisdatagroup.com.

Still stuck?

Email info@fortisdatagroup.com with what happened, what you expected and the device you use (for example, iPhone app, or Chrome on Windows). A person reads every message and answers within two working days. Never send a password or a code.
